Advent Morning of Recollection
Father Cassian will be preaching two spiritual conferences on "The Three Comings of Christ", a theme popularized by the great saint Bernard of Clairvaux in the 12th century.
Christ's first coming was his birth among us in the flesh through the Virgin's womb;
His second coming will be at the end of time at the final judgment;
His third coming is the most mysterious: In the human heart at every present moment.
All three comings are a focal point of the Advent season, and well worth preparing for.
